Isochoric Differential Apparatus

Description
IDA, Isochoric Differential Apparatus is a volumetric instrument for the characterization of material about gas sorption, especially in hydrogen storage study. Differential approach consists in the simultaneous comparison of pressure measures during a sorption phenomenon with a blanch test, which allows to achieve higher accuracy on gas uptake/release and reduce nonlinear or temperature effect caused by gas expansion
Advantages & Applications
- High accuracy: less than 10-5 moles
- No wait time in the first step of sorption phenomenon, where quick pressure changing can affect the measurement
- Measuring ranges limited only by type of sensors: vacuum to 30 Bar, RT to 650 K
- Possibility to perform surface study, as BET
